Let’s discuss burner phone numbers and apps.
I recently found someone who posted this technical analysis about a critical bug in the Burner Android app. It’s a detailed look at a login hang that’s locking users out completely.
The Issue:
The Burner Android app freezes on the login screen when existing users try to sign in. After entering their number and tapping the button, the UI hangs indefinitely—no crash, no error message. The same accounts work fine on the desktop/web version, confirming it’s a client-side Android bug.
Technical Details from the Post:
The bug is 100% reproducible across different devices and Android versions.
It’s not fixed by standard troubleshooting (clear cache, reinstall, etc.).
The analysis suggests a main-thread blockage, possibly from a synchronous network call without a timeout, a deadlock in a third-party SDK, or a swallowed exception in the navigation logic.
