1. Restrict Past and Future Posts
Facebook:
Go to Settings & Privacy → Privacy Shortcuts → Limit Past Posts
Set future posts to "Friends" or "Only Me"
Instagram:
Go to Settings → Privacy → Posts → Set to "Private Account"
2. Delete Old Public Content
Review and remove unnecessary public posts, photos, and comments
