Bitcoin’s Temptation vs. Monero’s Wisdom
A Crossroads of Greed and Prudence
We are at a crossroads.
Bitcoin (BTC) is the only crypto that consistently trends upward—granted, it’s the oldest and most mainstream. The problem is that it’s now heavily taxed and tracked, even more so than traditional bank accounts in many ways. While there’s a lot of rhetoric around Trump supporting Bitcoin and crypto, his track record shows he’s the most likely U.S. president in history to flip-flop on a statement minutes later—yet his base still follows him unconditionally.
Monero (XMR), on the other hand, is the only crypto that’s simple enough for practical use and built on true privacy. The only thing Monero lacks compared to BTC is big investors and whales who can manipulate its price. Yes, BTC is rising now, but at any moment, those same players could pull out, leaving you exposed to taxes and regulations if you make one wrong move.
Right now, BTC’s price is very tempting. But with everything chaotic in the media and Twitter—from "Grok Hitler" to Trump’s Epstein ties, weather manipulation allegedly killing young White Christian girls, Israel’s controversies, mass immigration crises, gender war rage-bait, ICE, skyrocketing inflation, and more—I’ve realized that impulse investing decisions rarely end well. The media emotionally manipulates us, so I decided to step back.
I’ve been listening to Proverbs on audio to ground myself. My gut says BTC, my dreams and partial logic say ETH, but my moral risk-aversion says HODL Monero and Be Still. The Proverbs remind me that greed is a bottomless pit—and sometimes, the safer path is the wiser one.
My son, if sinful men entice you,
