Dreams, Crypto, and Pushing Back Against Digital Enslavement
Before I ever installed a full Linux distro, I used RandomX to mine Monero from a bootloader—only to fry my machine’s fans and make zero profit. My initial dive into crypto wasn’t about Bitcoin mining, though running a full node later intrigued me. I realized that even with a hardware wallet (like Ledger or Trezor), you’re still relying on their servers and software. True financial transparency means having direct access to the blockchain—no third parties, no banks.
Nightmares and Visions of Crypto
I kept having nightmares about hyperinflation, economic collapse, and my girlfriend leaving me because I was broke. In these dreams, schematics for mining Ethereum appeared repeatedly. Most men my age didn’t care about crypto, but my subconscious seemed to be screaming: This is your way out.
So I tried building an Ethereum node—and failed. Logically, Ethereum mining seemed profitable with its absurd gas fees and clogged network. But the Ethereum community? Not my crowd. They were the liberal, pro-Ukraine, suburban-dwelling types—soft, rich, and flamboyant. I didn’t vibe with them.
My son and I even shared synchronized dreams about blue coins—DeFi and ERC-20 tokens skyrocketing. Governments would likely push Ethereum or Solana over Bitcoin because they don’t want accountability. But dreams aren’t prophecies; they’re subconscious warnings. And people can change the future.
The Monero Awakening
A friend later dreamed about Monero, which I’d nearly forgotten. Back then, it was slow, and privacy wasn’t yet a priority for me. That changed after I watched a 2020 video of John McAfee dismantling Lightning Network proponents. It forced me to reconsider everything.
During the BTC/BCH fork, I sided with Bitcoin because BCH supporters seemed unhinged (some even claimed to be Satoshi). Back then, adoption was low, and I was just a "price go up" guy. But McAfee’s rant reminded me of crypto’s original purpose—freedom—not beggars pleading for governments and Michael Saylor to pump their bags.
Then I noticed a strange trend: young, fit Monero advocates posting Hitler memes. At first, I thought they were feds. Monero used to be Fight Club—you don’t talk about it. But the more I researched, the clearer its superiority became. Privacy, fungibility, decentralization—Monero was everything Bitcoin should have been. I became a maxi overnight.
How People Push Back (And Why It Matters)
Dreams aren’t fixed futures; they’re possible outcomes. And when enough people resist, the trajectory changes.
Take VR. At an auto show during early COVID, the cars were forgettable, but VR blew me away. My whole life, I’d waited for tech like Lawnmower Man or Brainscan-level immersion. As a kid, VR was a letdown (I returned the Sega Activator for DOOM II—it ruined Christmas). But Meta finally delivered. VR became so real it made "schizophrenia" seem like a joke to anyone who’d used a high-end headset.
My son, unlike me, didn’t want toys—he wanted virtual Fortnite skins. That was wild to me. Back in my day, LAN parties and GoldenEye were king. But I saw the potential: a virtual economy. No more roads to fix—just Zoom meetings and digital suits. No child labor—just virtual Nikes. No traffic—just flying Mercedes in the metaverse.
We almost got that dystopia. The WEF wanted us locked in digital cages, trading real life for Meta’s overpriced virtual real estate. But people pushed back. After COVID, nobody wanted more screen time—just sunlight and freedom.
The Choice: Digital Enslavement or Freedom
Monero represents resistance. It’s not about getting rich—it’s about staying free. Do we want a future of CBDCs, surveillance, and begging elites for scraps? Or do we want privacy, sovereignty, and the benefits of tech without the control?
Keep pushing Monero. Stay real. Fight for freedom—not just "number go up."

“Mark Zuckerberg comes right out and explains how he expects to rip you off in the future. You can’t afford real gas, real clothes, a real home, or real food, but he thinks you’re going to come into his creepy Metaverse to spend your real money on imaginary “digital goods”.

The Evolution of Cryptocurrency
In the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrency, it's crucial to have an honest conversation about where we've been and where we're truly headed. As someone who's been in this space for years, I've watched the landscape transform dramatically, and my perspectives have shifted along with it.
The Crypto Illusion: How "Decentralization" Will Create a New Financial Oligarchy
“JUST IN: Trump just signed the first major crypto bill into law. The GENIUS Act gives stablecoins legal clarity: – Full reserve backing – Monthly audits – State + federal oversight This is the most pro-crypto move from the US government in years. We’re entering a new era.”
The Illusion of Freedom:
Imagine you're living in a house, but you don’t own the keys to the door. Someone else controls the locks, the food in the fridge, and whether or not you can turn on the lights. They’ve got the power to give you what you need—or take it away. You're not free. This is the reality for many in an economy where essential resources are controlled by a few po…
