THE HISTORICAL RECORD
The bloodline was broken. After the Romans destroyed Judea (70-136 AD), the surviving Jews scattered. From the 8th to the 10th centuries, the Khazar Empire—a Turkic kingdom in what is now Southern Russia and Ukraine—converted to Judaism en masse. Their population became the foundation of much of Europe’s Ashkenazi Jewish community. This history demonstrates that modern Jewish identity is built upon conversion, not an unbroken biological chain from Abraham.

1. NO “NATURAL BRANCHES” TO RESTORE
Paul’s olive tree metaphor assumed biological continuity that doesn’t exist. The “natural branches” were broken off and never regrew as the same tree.

Romans 11:26 cannot mean ethnic Jewish restoration because that ethnicity no longer exists as a continuous people. “All Israel” means God’s complete people from all nations who share Abraham’s faith—not his DNA.
