Sudo Image Nano Magik
My newest book was recently denied by Lulu's global distribution, which is normal since Amazon has the strictest standards for publishing. A workaround I used in the past was to take my PDF and try similar sites like Blurb. This time, though, I think the issue was that there weren’t enough pages, and I’m too lazy to make more, haha. But check this out: I didn’t have a dedicated PDF-to-JPEG converter anymore, and I didn’t feel like doing things manually or bloating my machine. So, I used the first available program I could find and had ChatGPT show me how to edit the ImageMagick security policy in nano on Linux to allow PDF conversions. Can you imagine, though? Before AI tools, how rich I would be if I even knew what nano was back then? I remember watching the Snowden movie for the first time not that long ago because I refuse to watch things that sometimes hit too close to home, haha. But I remember thinking how basic it was that he was doing these simple ls
commands, and they treated him like he was Hackerman. That's crazy to think about, right? That a security policy in a program, when blocked from doing something, can just be edited by changing a few words. Imagine banks or even smart contracts—everything is just one script away from being unlocked.
Anyways, here’s a bunch of content from my previous blog, iammerica, when I searched for tags related to fine art. With so much censorship on the internet, I had to make backups on top of backups to secure my spot in the digital matrix.
