On Not Being a Monkey: Choosing Freedom Over Casino Coins
My dreams and my son’s dreams say the same thing: that there will be a breakout of what he called “blue coins” and what my dreams referred to as ERC20 tokens. He said they were all going up, whereas my dreams revealed the seasons of the event—it was very cold outside, and there were rapid changes happening in tech, particularly in IoT and gaming. Of course, to some degree, this is just the normal cycle that happens every winter with altcoins.
As of today, history rhymes; it doesn’t repeat. Looking at big banks exiting liquidity into their own stablecoins, major trade deals being made in the Middle East, India, and South America, and laws being passed in the EU for stricter KYC—it’s not that I can’t play the game and make money gambling on casino coins, KYC- and tax-free. It’s that I don’t want to be a monkey anymore. John McAfee was right: too many of us are bending over, asking for permission, using our permissionless money as if it’s just another regulated market. Monero is the only coin right now—aside from gold and silver, or investing in your own physical hardware to build local AI—that frees you from the matrix.
So if ECRS pumps, so be it. I might not be living like George Jetson, but at least I won’t have a mark on my forehead or my hand. I won’t be a slave to the state, begging for permission and waiting for BlackRock to pump my bags. In the end, don’t let greed blind you to the proverbs.

Financial Survival in a Broken System
When people talk about cryptocurrency, the conversation often revolves around investment portfolios, NFTs, and Lamborghini dreams. It’s a world of speculation and high finance that feels a million miles away from the struggles of everyday people just trying to make ends meet.
