Hey everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to share an important update about my NFTs. After much consideration, I’ve decided to step back from the Ethereum-based NFT space. Here’s why:
1. Gas Fees Are Out of Control
The cost of minting, buying, and selling NFTs on Ethereum has become unsustainable. Paying high fees for transactions that sometimes don’t even go through feels like throwing money into a black hole. It’s frustrating and takes away from the joy of creating and sharing art.
2. Everything Is Tracked
One of the promises of blockchain was decentralization and privacy, but Ethereum feels anything but private. Every transaction is tracked, logged, and monitored, which defeats the purpose of a truly decentralized system. It’s hard to feel free in a space where every move is recorded.
3. Scams Are Everywhere
The NFT space has become a breeding ground for scams, rug pulls, and honey pots. It’s exhausting to navigate, and I no longer want to be part of an ecosystem where so many people are getting taken advantage of. The lack of trust and transparency has made it difficult to stay engaged.
For these reasons, I’ve decided to make my NFTs no longer available. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it feels like the right one for now.
